WIMD Indicator Data

Annual indicator data from the Welsh Index of Multiple Deprivation (WIMD).

Since the initial publication of WIMD 2014, Welsh Government (WG) has released annual updates of the WIMD indicator data.  However, not all indicators are updated annually; this depends on the availability of data and WG resources.

Files included on this page include the latest available indicator data within each domain for Swansea Lower Super Output Areas (LSOAs) and other areas. The indicator list below sets out those domains and indicators which were updated in December 2016.  In addition, some of the community safety indicators were updated in April 2017.  Further updates of WIMD indicators are due to be published in December 2017.

If you would like any further information or local data from WIMD, please contact us.
