Terms And Conditions Of Sale

By purchasing a ticket by telephone, over the counter, or via an agency, you are agreeing to these conditions of sale

Swansea Grand Theatre Terms and Conditions :

  • All tickets are subject to availability. Please check your tickets carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified after the event.
  • No refunds will be given except for cancelled events.
  • Exchange of tickets will only be considered in cases of emergency and the management reserves the right to refuse an exchange. Where an exchange occurs, it will be for another performance of the same production and a fee will be charged per ticket.
  • The management reserves the right to introduce discounts and other price changes without notice.
  • The promoter reserves the right to make any changes to the advertised programme.
  • Tickets are sold for use by the buyer only (and his or her party) and are not for resale or for commercial gain by the holder. We reserve the right to cancel tickets and refuse entry should we have reason to believe this condition has not been respected.
  • The contract is not concluded until tickets have been either collected or posted.
  • In exceptional circumstances, the management reserves the right to offer alternative seats to those specified on the ticket. 
  • The use of cameras or recording equipment is strictly forbidden.
  • The management reserves the right to refuse admission and may, on occasions, have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of patrons
  • Tickets are required for each child attending a performance. Parents are reminded that some performances are not suitable for young children.
  • If you encounter any problems at a show please let one of our Front of House staff know immediately and they will endeavour to rectify the problem.
  • Please be advised to check and make allowances for any events likely to delay your arrival at the theatre in time for the start of the show. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
  • Where a performance has the benefit of surtitles, patrons should check with the Box Office staff at the time of booking as to seat suitability.
  • The management reserves the right to remove from the theatre, without refund, any ticket holder who disrupts other audience members' enjoyment.
  • Boxes in the Grand Circle are licensed to accommodate 5 persons. Please be advised that the boxes provide a sideways view of the stage.
  • From time to time, official show merchandise may be available from the promoters. The theatre cannot accept any responsibility for the sale of such merchandise.
  • Special Effects - If you are concerned about inclusion of any special effects during a performance, please ask at the time of booking, although the inclusion of these may not be notified to the theatre until the actual performance dates. Please check the foyer notice for more information when you visit the theatre.
  • In the interests of Health and Safety the theatre reserves the right to restrict public access to parts of the theatre.
