Penlan Project

Penlan is a large housing estate about 3 miles from the centre of Swansea. The Penlan Project is based at the Methodist Church in the heart of the estate.

The church building had been closed for several years, yet it had enormous potential. The project's aims were to re-furbish the building so that it could be used again in the service of the community.

The  building is open again. Working in partnership the people of Penlan we aim to make these premises useful and available to the local community for a variety of activities. 

Our premises are available for the use of the community. We hope that members of the community will use the building for their own groups. 

The aim of these pages is to share our hopes for the development of this Project. Your feedback would be welcomed. 

Penlan Methodist Church is on Heol Gwyrosydd opposite the Comprehensive School.
