Community Groups and Activities

How to find information about social groups, organisations and activities in your local area.

Between 2012 and 2016 Social Services ran a Community Connection Project to help prevent people becoming socially isolated.  A team of Community Connectors provided information and contacts for a wide range of organisations and activities and played a role in developing community projects and initiatives which created social opportunities and promoted wellbeing.  This project has now ended.
