2001 Census

2001 Census statistics for local areas in Swansea.

The first detailed local authority level results from the 2001 Census were released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) in February 2003. The information was used to compile a summary 2001 Census profile of the PDF Document City & County of Swansea (PDF, 276KB)Opens new window.

ONS subsequently released equivalent Census statistics for electoral divisions or wards. Individual 2001 Census profiles for the 36 wards in Swansea are also available to view or download from this page.
